Lenten Luncheons

First Baptist Church of Dupo has announced their Lenten Luncheons, Feb. 18 through April 1 from Noon-12:45 p.m. at the church located at 620 Godin Ave., Dupo. Speakers will include Feb. 18-Pastor Roger Reid of First Baptist Church, Dupo;, Feb. 25-Ubterun Oastir /davud Gray of Maplewood Baptist Church, Cahokia; March 4-Pastor Ron Hebel of Bluffview Christian Center, Dupo; March 11-Pastor Gene Rhoden of Flat Creek Baptist Church, East Carondelet; March 18-Not available as of press time; March 25- Pastor Kim Kelly of Christ United Church of Christ, Dupo; April 1-Dennis Dawson, Director of Missions Metro East Baptist Association. Join First Baptist for Lenten message, soup, sandwich, and singing!

Christ UCC Chicken & Dumpling Dinner

Ivan Parker Gospel Concert

The Apostolic Worship Center will be hosting a gospel concert on Friday, April 30th at 7:00 p.m. The tickets are $15 in advance or $17 at the door. Artist Circle seats are $25.

Summer Church Bowling League now forming

Area churches have been bowling for the last few years during the winter & summer in an organized league at Red Bird Lanes in Cahokia. We are currently looking for churches who are interested in joining us in the summer league. Each team consist of four players (mixed women & men) any combination. It is a handicapped league and sanctioned by USBC (United States Bowling Congress). The cost is $9 per person which includes 3 league games and banquet at the end of the season. The trophy is a traveling trophy used for bragging rights. It is all about fellowship among the area christian churches. The league meeting is May 11th and the league starts May 18th. League practice starts at 6:45 pm and play starts at 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in putting one or more teams together, let us know.
