The following positions are now available for the most qualified person. All positions are currently part-time. All positions can be worked from a home office
giving more flexibility to a persons schedule.
City Editor
(Currently need editors in these cities: Millstadt, Columbia, & Waterloo)
Requirement:
At least a High School diploma, but some college preferred.
A good command of the English language, writing skills a must.
Duties:
Keeping up with local events in order to schedule reporting assignments. Keep in close contact with churches, organizations, and clubs in order to promote their events. Use gather information to update monthly & yearly community calendar. And to help assist in offering opinions of the overall production of the online & print issue.
Hours:
This position works well for someone with a full time job, or a stay at home individual. The work load would probably require about 5-10 hours per week.
Compensation:
Starting pay would be $10 per hour.
Reporters
Requirement:
At least a High School diploma, but some college preferred.
A good command of the English language, writing skills a must, and camera skills.
Duties:
Covering area events - sporting events - city & school board meeting & more. If you wish you can cover assignments only in the city that your currently presiding in.
Hours:
All events to cover will be in the evening so this position works well for someone with
a full time job. Amount of assignments depends upon the persons desire to earn extra income, with the maximum of 6 assignments per week.
Compensation:
Starting pay for part time will be $50 per completed assignment.

Requirement:
Advertising sales to local businesses & account managing.
