Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. January 09, 2010 at Faith Family Church (704 N. Green Mount Rd.) in Shiloh, IL., with Pastor Rick Hufton, officiating.

Interment: January 09, 2010 at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.

Alex was preceded in death by his parents: Lorraine & Elvira, nee Nold, Tegtmeier MD. Alex is survived by his wife: Patricia Tegtmeier, his sons: Shaun McGuire & Scott McGuire, his daughter: Sue Ann Tegtmeier, his grandchildren: Patrick McGuire, Chloe McGuire & Lilly McGuire, his brothers: Kurt (Ann) Tegtmeier & Carl (Liz) Tegtmeier, his nieces & nephews: Kurt Tegtmeier Jr., Phillip Tegtmeier, Lynn Danis, Katie Curdiff, Chris Tegtmeier, & Jenny Tegtmeier, he is also survived by other relatives & friends.

Alex retired from the Air National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel and he later retired from Hartford Insurance Company as a claims adjuster. He was a member of Faith Family Church in Shiloh, IL., where he was very active in many aspects of the church. He was a life member of Sister Cities in Millstadt & Columbia and he was on the board for the Sister Cities in Columbia. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Belleville and he was a member of the American Legion Post 502 in Millstadt.

Interment: January 05, 2010 at Concordia United Church of Christ Cemetery in Belleville, IL.

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents: Alfred & Henrietta, nee Hass, Scharf Sr., his sisters: Florence Vogt & Hilda Scharf and his nephew: Brian Scharf. He is survived by his sister: Elvira Scharf, his brothers: Earl (Sandy) Scharf & Leroy (Doris) Scharf, he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Alfred was a retired farmer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concordia United Church of Christ.

Dan was preceded in death by his father: John W. Cason. He is survived by his wife: Jill E. Cason, his mother: Dortha May Cason, his brother: Kevin (Tina) Cason, his nephews: Hunter & Jake, his niece: Brandi, he is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Dan was a member of Real Life Methodist Church in Waterloo, IL., and Teamsters Local 50. His hobbies were team roping and hunting.

Memorials may be made to: Monroe Patriots Special Olympics, Living the Adventure Ministries or the Monroe County Humane Society.
